Respecting the privacy rights of our customers is very important to us. We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. This privacy policy explains the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe.
Domino’s websites (dominos.co.uk and dominos.ie) and Domino’s mobile, tablet and other applications (the “Sites”) are controlled and operated by Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland Limited of 1 Thornbury, West Ashland, Milton Keynes MK6 4BB (“DPUK”).
Who are we?
Domino’s websites (dominos.co.uk and dominos.ie) and Domino’s mobile, tablet and other applications (the “Sites”) are controlled and operated by Domino's Pizza UK & Ireland Limited of 1 Thornbury, West Ashland, Milton Keynes MK6 4BB (“DPUK”). The data controller of the Sites is DPUK.
Domino's is a franchised business, where almost all stores are owned and operated by independent Domino’s Pizza franchisees. SANTIO LTD of Crabtree Office Village, Egham, TW20 8RY (“we” or “us”) is one of Domino’s franchisees.
In relation to the personal data of our customers, DPUK and SANTIO LTD are “joint controllers”. This means that we may jointly determine the purposes and means of processing your personal data. It also means that DPUK will determine the purpose for which DPUK uses your personal data and where SANTIO LTD have also collected your personal data, we will determine the purpose for which we use your personal data. SANTIO LTD is independently responsible for its own legal and regulatory compliance and for the operation of its own Domino’s Pizza store(s) (our “Store(s)”) and all compliance arising from any transactions with you, any products ordered by you from the Sites and any products ordered from our Stores.

What information do we collect and why do we collect it?
When you interact with us, we may collect personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address as provided by you when you place an order with us or sign up to receive marketing at an event, for example at a Freshers Fair. We collect this information for the following reasons:

to process your order. This processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you. If you fail to provide us with the information that we request, then you may not be able to place an order with us. We will store your name, email address and telephone number for 13 months and we will store your address details for 24 months. We engage third-party processors to process the payment of your order online. If you consent to them doing so, the third-party processors may store your payment card details to speed up your transaction time.

for product development (for example, call backs for feedback on new products), for statistical, market research, testing and survey purposes, for fraud prevention purposes and to notify you about changes to our services. We have a legitimate interest to collect this information: to continue to improve the services we provide to you. We will store this personal information for 24 months however, if you have not placed an order for 13 months, we will automatically anonymise your personal data; and

for complaints, This processing is necessary for us to be settle any complaints that you may have experienced with us. If you fail to provide us with the information that we request, then we will be unable to resolve a complaint you may have with us. We will store your name, email address and telephone number for 13 months and we will store your address details for 24 months.

to ensure you receive marketing and offers that are of most interest and relevance to you. We will store this personal information for 24 months, however, if you have not placed an order for 13 months, we will automatically anonymise your personal data and you shall receive no further direct marketing from us. You can opt out of this processing at any time. For further information about our direct marketing practices, please see the Direct Marketing Section of this policy below.

For store and customer safety. All of our stores operate CCTV and is recording 24 hours a day and is there for the protection of our customers and staff. The system holds the CCTV for 28 days and then it is erased.
Direct Marketing
When you place an order with Domino’s, other than via one of the Sites, or you provide us with your details at an event (e.g. a Fresher’s Fair), we may send you occasional direct marketing via SMS, only if you have given us consent to do so.
Can i stop receiving direct marketing?
Yes! You are always free to unsubscribe from direct marketing at any time; this will never have an impact on our commitment to provide you with great service and a quality product. To withdraw consent to marketing, please visit the marketing preference centre at dominos.co.uk. We will stop sending you marketing messages as soon as possible but, in any event, will do so no later than 30 days from your request.
How long do you me opted in for direct marketing?
If you do not unsubscribe from direct marketing, we will rely on your consent for no longer than 13 months, at which point your personal data will be automatically anonymised.
Who do we share your information with?
We may share your personal information with DPUK in accordance with our Joint Controller Statement, data matching, data analysis or direct marketing companies to perform services on our behalf (such as, Text Management Limited) who will only be permitted to use your personal information for the purpose of performing that particular function strictly in accordance with our instructions and not for any other purpose. Please see “What information do we collect and why do we collect it?” above for further information.
We may also share your personal information with a purchaser or a potential purchaser of our business. We have a legitimate interest to do this: to assist with the sale or potential sale of our business.
In some circumstances, we may have to disclose your personal information by law, because a court or the police or other legal or regulatory enforcement agency has asked us for it.
We require all third parties that we work with to treat your personal information as confidential and to fully comply with all applicable UK and Ireland data protection and consumer legislation.
Where we store your personal data?
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA") pursuant to: (a) the model clauses published by the European Commission pursuant to Commission Decision C(2010) 593 Standard Contractual Clauses (Processors); or (b) the model clauses published by the European Commission pursuant to Commission Decision C 2004/915/EC Standard Contractual Clauses (Controller) or (c) where we transfer or store personal data in the United States, the US Privacy Shield Regime where the entity receiving the personal data has entered into the Privacy Shield self-certification regime.. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
Your rights
You have a right to request access to or rectification of your personal data which we hold about you. You also have a right to erase your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data and the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us and to transit such personal data to another data controller.

If you are concerned about our processing of your personal data, you have a right to make a complaint to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK.
Please note that we cannot comply with a request relating to personal data held by DPUK as we do not have access to this information. You should make a request directly to DPUK as set out in our Joint Controller Statement.
